I am 28 years old. I am a personal trainer and an Aerial Yoga instructor in the Tulsa area. I have a rescue toy poodle whom is blind, keeps me on my toes all day and I adore him tremendously. I grew up in a small town outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma and have played sports my entire life.
After graduating high school in 2007, I attended Rogers State University on a softball scholarship and earned my Bachelor of Science in Sport Management in 2012. I am currently attending school again and will soon be applying to an Occupational Therapy program here in Oklahoma. Throughout my entire life I have stayed active and am constantly looking for a new way to challenge myself physically and mentally. In 2014, I was complacent with weight training only and decided to learn the foundations of Aerial silks. I quickly fell in love with the sport and 3 years later I transitioned to training primarily on the Aerial hammock and become a certified instructor for Aerial Yoga. In January of 2016, I was encouraged by a friend to start competing. I trained for 5 months before entering my first competition in May which was the 2016 Oklahoma Battle of the Bodies where I won overall figure champion and figure Class-B 1st place. I went on to compete that June in the 2016 Oklahoma where I placed 2nd overall in figure and won figure Class-D 1st place. This qualified me for nationals in July which led me to the 2016 USA's (Vegas) where I placed 15th, a very humbling experience to say the least.
Bodybuilding has to be the most physically and mentally demanding sport I have came across. The amount of dedication, passion, sacrifices, pain and triumphs have me addicted to this process and I will continuously push to become the best version of myself.
